Driver Scoring

The Driver Scoring is a Premium feature that helps you to drive safer and cheaper by reducing bad habits behind the wheel and maintenance costs. Sygic Truck GPS Navigation unique algorithm evaluates the various aspects of the driving style and calculates each driver’s score directly on the mobile device located in a phone holder. It uses five variables to calculate the score – speed, acceleration, braking, cornering, and distraction level.

The Driving Score is calculated in two steps. The first step is to provide the score for specific features, such as harsh braking or speeding, also considering a severity factor. The second step is to give a total score. The total score is an overall score calculated by the use of a weighing mechanism.

Automatic Trip Recognition

There's no need to start recording the trip. Each trip is registered automatically with no additional driver interaction needed. Trip recognition also works with the application in the background. It is necessary to place your phone or tablet into a phone holder to achieve the best accuracy.

The Driver Scoring feature is available in all Sygic Truck GPS Navigation Premium Licenses for Android, version 13.9.6. or higher.
