This year, Sygic has participated in Deloitte's Best Managed Companies Slovakia Programme for the second time. Among all the registered businesses with Slovak or Czech-and-Slovak ownership structures, a professional jury has recognized Sygic for its strategy, productivity, innovation, company culture, management, and financial performance accomplishments.
Over the past year, Sygic has reaffirmed its commitment to effective company management, responsible engagement with partners and employees, and its reputation as a technology innovator with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. The company successfully achieved ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications, demonstrating its readiness to adhere to the most stringent process and quality standards that impact product development, security, stability, and the quality of customer support.

Sygic expanded its client portfolio this year by forging partnerships with prominent OEMs and automotive producers. It also gained direct access to digital stores within vehicle cockpits, such as AllGo AppStore by Visteon and SPARQ by P3. A significant milestone was achieved by making Sygic the first third-party navigation provider integrated into Google's Android Automotive OS, now available in the latest models of trucks and cars from select brands.
Additionally, Sygic collaborated with Digades to introduce a unique head-up display integrated directly into motorcyclists' helmets, enhancing motorbiked navigation solutions.
Sygic maintained its partnership with Zavarovalnica Triglav, Slovenia's leading insurance company, on the DRAJV application. Sygic's development team played a crucial role in implementing telematics and gamification features into the app, enabling the monitoring and assessing driver behavior while encouraging more responsible and safer driving practices. As of August 2023, the app boasts an impressive 67,000 active users, marking a notable 21% increase compared to the same month in 2020. In recognition of its excellence, the DRAJV application was honored with the prestigious Websi Gold Award in the Advanced Technology Usage category in 2023.
The popular Sygic GPS Navigation for passenger car drivers has introduced a new type of safety alert – a rescue alley for emergency vehicles on highways. What's more, there are numerous enhancements to elevate the navigation experience on Android Auto and CarPlay. And soon, more news can be expected.
This year, the Fuelio app by Sygic has introduced new features to complement its existing free version, which includes crowdsourced fuel prices, trip logging, car service tracking, mileage recording, and fuel consumption data. Now, users can subscribe for advanced functionalities – planning routes with stations filtered by price, preferred brand, or car range. Additionally, users can generate detailed route reports that provide information on route length, the number of stops, trip duration, and estimated time of arrival (ETA), complete with an estimate of overall fuel expenses for the trip.
