Challenges

According to ATRI (American Transportation Research Institute) when trucks are using commercial GPS that do not account for truck-specific routes, there’s an increase in bridge strikes and overall reduced efficiency. The truck drivers weren’t simply taking the most direct routes.

With the aim to reduce extra miles, Vnomics was asked by commercial trucking customers for hands-free navigation accounting for truck-specific routes and allowing to communicate drop-off/pick-up locations with their drivers.
