Unique algorithm to evaluate driver behavior on a smartphone

The Sygic unique driver behavior algorithm, based on data from over 400 billion kilometers driven with Sygic apps over the last 15 years, evaluates the various aspects of a driver’s driving style and calculates a score for the driver’s behavior directly on the device using a combination of data from the accelerometer and GPS data for the most accurate scoring.

Recorded events vary according to the type of vehicle:
Cars and Vans: acceleration, speed, braking, cornering, the risk level of the road type and driving time, distracted driving

Light or Heavy Truck: Speeding, Entering restricted zones, Breaks and rest periods, Smoothness, Harsh maneuvers, Distracted driving
