Sygic Offline GPS Navigation is Now Available on Android Auto

Sygic GPS Navigation on Android Auto brings an entirely new experience and level of comfort. Mirroring the navigation app to your car’s screen enables safer navigation usage and means no more devices on the windshield, and no need to look down or handle your phone while driving.

After connecting your phone to an Android Auto-enabled vehicle, the app is projected onto the vehicle’s screen. The interface is easy to use thanks to its large menu buttons and intuitive design. 3D maps, text and signs are more readable. Thanks to its connection to the car’s sound system, voice navigation commands are clearer.

As an added bonus, Sygic GPS Navigation includes offline maps that let you navigate accurately even in areas where data coverage is patchy. Besides these properties, other safety-supporting features are available: speed limit warnings, predictive routing that forecasts traffic congestion, and simple lane assistant for safer switching of lanes.

Thanks to this integration with Android Auto, applying the user's personalized Sygic navigation preferences and maps to any Android Auto-enabled vehicle is possible. This is an outstanding benefit for those who use company vehicles, car rentals or car-sharing.

The agile development team at Sygic, which has its headquarters in Slovakia, Central Europe, have finalized this project after several months of intensive work.
